Vane Recruitment is in partnership with CIC charity Manor House Development Trust.
Manor House Development Trust (MHDT) evolved as part of the exit strategy for the Woodberry Down and Stamford Hill SRB6 Partnership which ended in March 2007. Their aim is to motivate local communities to fully participate in the regeneration of the area, through a wide-ranging agenda that’s responsive to the needs and aspirations of local people. They are a resident-led and controlled organisation, with the support of professional specialist-interest board members. They have a management team which, coupled with the enthusiasm and energy of local residents, enables them to address local concerns through practical projects and activities. They work in partnership with statutory and voluntary service providers to make their services more accessible to the local community, applying for and securing funding for their own initiatives with links into regional programmes such as Well London. By doing this they ensure residents have access to these services.
MHDT seeks to be more than ‘another local community organisation’: “our principles of local ownership, community benefit and mutual support create an entrepreneurial approach and culture which is vital for the Trust’s long term growth and success.”
Manor House Development Trust works as a catalyst with partner organisations and companies to achieve mutual goals, providing opportunities for people living at Woodberry Down, Hackney and further afield. If you’re a company looking to achieve local labour targets in the borough of Hackney, they can partner with you, finding skilled, qualified people with CSCS cards for your job opportunities through Local Labour Hire CIC.
